An international standard in software testing

The International Software Testing Qualification Board (ISTQB) was established in November 2002 with the aim of creating and harmonizing a global certification program for software testing. Today, the ISTQB certification scheme is fully recognized and widely adopted around the world. The ISTQB testing certification program consists of three levels:

Foundation Level
Advanced Level
Expert Level

This three-day accredited course prepares you for the exam of Foundation Certificate in Software Testing and meets the requirements set by ISTQB.

The course covers the principles and standards of software testing, test management, test phases, reviews and inspections, a variety of test techniques for both white-box and black-box testing, and test tools. The exam will take place at the end of the third day.

*The Foundation Certificate is a prerequisite for taking the ISTQB Advanced level exams.

Structure of this training

Discover the essentials of structured testing in this interactive three-day training. You will learn about structured testing from both theoretical and practical perspectives. You will also engage in exercises and discussions to develop your critical thinking and problem-solving skills. To help you prepare for the certification exam, you will take mock tests during the course and review the curriculum in the evenings. You will take the exam on the last day of the training, unless it is a virtual classroom, in which case the exam will be scheduled for another day.
