This training is for anyone who wants to learn how to deliver valuable products to their customers using the Agile and Scrum methodology. You will learn how to define the product vision, prepare the backlog, prioritize the features, identify and overcome obstacles, monitor the progress, manage the stakeholders, collaborate with the customers, users, and other parties, and finally pass the PSPO I exam.

After this training, you will:

Be able to explain how the Product Owner role fits within the Scrum framework
Explain the tasks and responsibilities of the Product Owner role
Create the product vision and prepare the product backlog
Analyze and prioritize the features with the most business value
Identify and overcome impediments, deviations, hindrances, and other obstacles that affect the progress
Explain how to monitor the progress and take action on the results
Understand how stakeholder management works and what role you play in it
Explain how to collaborate with customers, users, and other stakeholders to deliver the maximum value
Successfully pass the exam and obtain the PSPO I certificate

The Product owner training is designed for learning and testing the professional’s fundamental knowledge of the product owner role, the Agile principles and Scrum methodology. After passing the exam, it may be useful to delve into specific role trainings such as for Product Owner Advanced or Scrum Master.

We assume that you already know the essence of Agile and Scrum.

Structure of this training

During this two-day training we teach you everything you need to successfully set up your role as Product Owner. By bringing in your own experience and cases, we build a bridge between the principles of Agile and the Scrum approach and the way it is applicable in your organization. You will learn more about the success factors and challenges of the Product Owner role.

The role of product owner in the scrum team and in the organization
Managing the Product Backlog
Preparing and monitoring Scrum projects
Planning and estimation and monitoring progress
Delivering value through Value-Driven Development
Stakeholder management

The examination process we offer is designed with flexibility and convenience in mind. The exam is optional and is scheduled to take place during the final hour of the training session. However, you can take the exam later at a time that suits you if desired. The exam is conducted online and consists of multiple-choice questions.

Upon successful completion of the exam, you will be awarded with the Product Owner Certificate. This certificate is recognized by both EXIN and scrum.org. Depending on your choice, you will automatically receive the Product Owner certificate.
