In this highly practical training, you will take your problem-solving skills to the next level. At the core is the proven RATIO approach, giving you the tools to tackle complex, recurring, and high-impact challenges with confidence. You’ll not only learn to define problems with razor-sharp precision and uncover root causes, but also to implement effective solutions and secure lasting results.
Building on the Event Mapping and Problem Analysis techniques you already know, we’ll expand these methods and apply them to more complex cases. On top of that, you’ll add at least one new tool from the RATIO toolbox to your skillset:
- Human Factor Analysis – uncovering the true causes of human error without the barriers of blame.
- Data Analytics – using data to validate insights and strengthen your fact base.
Expect an engaging mix of cutting-edge theory and intensive hands-on exercises, ensuring immediate impact in your daily work. To maximize learning, you’ll prepare with several e-learning modules (12 months unlimited access) and a real-life case study, so you can hit the ground running from day one.
This training is designed for professionals and leaders in quality, maintenance, process & production, incident & problem management, and HSE who deal with structural problems or high-impact incidents.
Prerequisite: completion of the Problem Solving & RCA Essentials training.
Structure of the training
Classroom:
The classroom version of this training lasts 2 consecutive days and is offered as an open enrollment in our training facility in Ermelo, as well as a customized in-company program. Each session has space for up to 12 participants.
Online: (max 6 participants)
The online version of this training consists of 4 sessions of 3 hours each. During these online sessions, participants engage in plenty of interaction with the trainer. Exercises are carried out in groups via online breakout sessions.
Upon completion, you will receive the Advanced Problem Solving & RCA certificate. With this certificate, you can progress to the Problem Solving & RCA Leadership training.
